Mosquito was constructed in 1995 as an IMS cruiser racer for the Aegean offshore race. The construction is wood epoxy with several layers of diagonal mahogany planking. The decks, the cockpit, the very roomy and comfortable interior is teak. She has Proctor spars, North sails, Lewmar deck gear and Yanmar engine.
